Cookies Policy
Last updated: 15 June 2026
This Cookies Policy explains how CapEasy Consulting Private Limited ("CapBlue", "we", "us" or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on the CapBlue platform at capblue.in (the "Platform"). It should be read together with our Privacy Notice and Terms of Use.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognise your device, keep you signed in, and remember choices. We also use similar technologies such as local storage and tokens, which we refer to collectively as "cookies" in this Policy.
2. Why we use cookies
We use cookies primarily to make the Platform work — to sign you in securely, keep your session active, protect against fraud and abuse, and remember your preferences. We keep our use of cookies deliberately limited.
3. The types of cookies we use
3.1 Strictly necessary cookies
These are essential for the Platform to function and cannot be switched off through our systems. They are usually set in response to actions you take, such as signing in or filling in forms. Without them, the Platform will not work properly.
| Cookie / token | Set by | Purpose | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| Authentication & session tokens | Supabase | Keep you securely signed in after OTP, magic-link or OAuth sign-in | Session / persistent |
| Security & anti-CSRF tokens | CapBlue / Supabase | Protect against cross-site request forgery and session abuse | Session |
| Load-balancing / delivery | Vercel | Route requests and deliver the application reliably | Session |
3.2 Functional cookies
These remember choices you make to give you a better experience, such as interface preferences. The Platform works without them, but some conveniences may be lost.
3.3 Analytics cookies
Where used, these help us understand how the Platform is used so we can improve it. They collect information in an aggregated form.
We do not use cookies for third-party advertising or to sell your data.
4. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by the service providers that help us run the Platform — currently Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting and delivery) and, for curator sign-in only, Google (OAuth). These providers process data under contract with us and in accordance with our Privacy Notice.
5. Managing cookies
Because our cookies are largely strictly necessary for the Platform to function, disabling them may prevent you from signing in or using core features. You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies
- Safari: Settings → Privacy
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Most browsers also let you block cookies entirely or alert you when a cookie is set.
6. Consent
By using the Platform and, where presented, by accepting our cookie banner, you consent to our use of non-essential cookies as described in this Policy. Strictly necessary cookies are set on the basis that they are required to deliver the service you request. You may withdraw consent to non-essential cookies at any time through your browser controls.
7. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Cookies Policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, with the "Last updated" date revised accordingly.
